Viktor Maco (He/Him)

(Peruvian Quechua)

Viktor Maco is a multimedia storyteller, photographer, and Indigenous rights advocate. His professional work has taken him across Turtle Island, South America and Asia, where he has explored the connections shared by Indigenous peoples around the world. His ongoing project Indigenous Americas, shifts the perception of who Americans are, back to the Indigenous relatives who have populated North and South for thousands of years.

LeAndra Nephin (She/Her)

(Omaha/ Ponca)

LeAndra Nephin is an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and Iowa with lineal descent from the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. She is a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and has spent the last five years working with survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse. She is an international public speaker and advocate for Indigenous human rights with a particular focus on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and People (MMIWG/MMIP) along with authentic and accurate representation of Native Americans in education, media. and sport.

Jen Begeal (She/Her)

Jen has produced numerous multi-platform projects around social justice, climate change and activism issues for clients such as Current TV, Verizon FiOS, and A&E. She has developed large scale marketing campaigns for entertainment clients including Universal Studios, Disney & Netflix. She teaches multi-platform storytelling, digital producing, writing across media, marketing and mass-up culture to undergraduate and graduate students across the New York City Metro area.

Marcus LaVoi (He/Him)

(Chippewa/ White Earth Band of Minnesota)

Marcus LaVoi is a Hollywood actor and producer whose career has included recurring roles on The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, and Power Rangers Time Force. The former deputy sheriff and Marine also earned Television credits on CSI: Miami, Six Feet Under, Shark (alongside James Woods), Gone, as Big Frank Yazzie in the show Chambers, and most recently as Nathan Goodleaf in the drama series For Life.

Although he often plays tough guys, like his supporting role in 2018's Den of Thieves, LaVoi's tenderhearted nature gives him a genuine love of people. Born and raised on the White Earth Indian reservation in Minnesota, he is most proud of his work with the Christian-based Eastern Sky Theater Company. He is also an active fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Pam Palmater (She/Her)

(Mi'Kmaw)

Pamela Palmater is a Mi'kmaw lawyer, professor, and author from Eel River Bar First Nation, who has been creating Indigenous digital media as part of her public education and advocacy on Indigenous issues since 2017.

Creator, producer, and host of the popular Warrior Life Podcast featured at digital media festivals; Pam uses her podcast to help shine a light on Indigenous issues and lift the voices of Indigenous land defenders, water protectors, advocates, and leaders from all over Turtle Island.

Nony Rose Salyer (They/Them)

Nony Rose Salyer (they/them) is a copywriter, graphic designer, and community manager. Raised in Wyoming, Nony cut their organizing teeth with the Occupy Wall Street Movement before making a home in Cincinnati, OH in 2012. After a few years as a rowdy punk they found sobriety and their place in the movement.

In addition to their work at Red House they are a founding member and Digital Media Coordinator of the Greater Cincinnati Native American Coalition, a grassroots organization that promotes education and advocacy work.
