As part of the Osage Nation, Tocabe utilizes our American Indian roots to help educate people on indigenous culture.
Tocabe is currently the only American Indian owned and operated restaurant in Metro Denver specializing in Native American cuisine. Our co-owners, Matt Chandra and Ben Jacobs, were inspired to open Tocabe by Grayhorse: An American Indian Eatery, which was established in 1989 by the Jacobs family.

Pei Pei Chei Ow (pronounced "pe-pe-s-chew") is a catering company based in Edmonton, AB, founded by Scott Jonathan Iserhoff.
Inspired by the land, life and seasons that surround us, Indigenous ways of cooking outdoors and by the Indigenous way of Mino-Pimatisiwin, Pei Pei Chei Ow explores the concept of Indigenous food in today's society, as well as the impact of colonialism on the Indigenous food system and contemporary culture.

The Fry Bread House - Phoenix, AZ
The Fry Bread House, which opened in 1992, was opened by Cecilia Miller, a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Native Americans. In 2012, it was recognized by the James Beard Foundation as an American Classic. The restaurant is one of only five restaurants, and the first Native American restaurant, in the United States to win the 2012 James Beard American Classics award.

Native Coffee’s vision for our small coffee business is to serve our community while bringing indigenous representation to the forefront of Arizonas small businesses. Off the Rez is owned by longtime couple Mark McConnell and Cecilia Rikard. Mark’s mother spent her childhood growing up on the Blackfeet Rez in Browning, Montana and emparted the culture to her children. Pow Wow Cafe is chef and restaurateur Shawn Adler's sixth project, and with it he's bringing the joy of Indigenous foods to Torontonian taste buds in the form of a taco. The Kensington Market restaurant uses a frybread base for all the tacos: it's a food with origins in the rations Indigenous people were given when they were kicked off their territory by settlers.
